DeD: The Foundation

Did you ever flip through your cable channels and find yourself on ESPN? And suddenly you find yourself intrigued by thses guys you could swear were lunatics for the things they were doing? Well you may not have but we did. The idea of a bike and skate group was merely a thought till the minds of Chris Blakley, his brother Pat, Jeff Bower and a crazy kid Brian Gawlik colaborated to form a group called DeD bike and board.Though at the time none of us were all that great, we knew that we would have to practice to get better and we were determined to do so. This was the basis of our foundation.

DeD: The Construction

We've acquired many new people since our founding. Neil Hafter, Danny Thai, Dave Earl, and Drew DeLattre. These guys are from around where we live and most of them were already our friends who wanted in. Most of the time we ride anywheres from 10-30min of where we live. There are not many good places to ride in liverpool but the places we have found are pretty good. Most of the time its rails or curbs, and a box every now and then. We're still progressing, some of us have changed styles and some stayed the same. Pat rides flat, Jeff, Brian and Drew do street, Danny does dirt and Neil does a little of each. In this sport you gotta earn the pain and the scars you get, be proud of them, they show that you strive for what you wanna do.
